SMALL FARM MACHINERY & YOUR BODY: USE BOTH WISELY
Developing a productive and profitable small, sustainable farm requires matching the right tool to the right job – safely. The Central Illinois Sustainable Farming Network and the Spence Farm Foundation welcomes you to join us at the Spence Farm on Saturday May 11, 2013 from 9:45 am – 3:30 pm for the program Small Farm Machinery and Your Body – Using Both Wisely. Sessions will include: choosing the right implements for the job, maintaining those tools, and demonstrations of the machinery in action. All sessions will focus on using equipment safely and using the most valuable tool you have, your body, carefully to prevent injury and strain.
