Chefs invited to the farm for a deep dive into sustainable food
Have you ever wondered what happens at SFF Chef Camp? Sean Powers from WILLradio.tv.online NPR stopped by to talk and listen to ten chefs, instructors, and organizers during two days of experiential learning focused on healthy food systems. Chefs traveled from Chicago and central Illinois to immerse themselves into the education.
Chef John Asbaty uses his words to describe the chef camp experience.
“What you are doing at the Foundation and the Farm is so much more than just about Spence Farm, and that is truly admirable. Your big picture outlook and willingness to band together like minds and educate and influence the people that will influence the future of food is beyond inspiring. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of what you are doing.” Chef John Asbaty, White Oak Tavern & Inn
