Join Chef Sean Sanders of Browntrout and Chef Thomas Leavitt of White Oak Gourmet as they team up to create a four course dinner celebrating the bounty of Midwest corn. We’ll be joined by Chicago’s own Koval distillery with whiskey based cocktail pairings for each course. We’ll be using organic and Non GMO corn in each course as we welcome summer to Chicago.Proceeds from this dinner will go to the Spence Farm Foundation, an educational non profit educating young people, consumers, and professionals on where their food comes from. The Foundation is working to save family farms by teaching the skills needed to help families transition to sustainable agriculture. The Foundation has strong support among the Chicago chef community who are working to help build a strong local food economy.
